Maintenance

To ensure the accuracy of the TR-2000 during use, it is recommended that users regularly maintain the glass vials and the instrument's measurement chamber. Scratches, fingerprints, or water droplets on the inner walls of the glass vials or the measurement chamber can all affect the final detection results. 

Keeping the glass vials and measurement chamber dry and clean is extremely important. Glass vials must be kept clean, transparent, and free of defects. Scratches and abrasions will permanently affect the accuracy of the readings. Glass vials can be regularly cleaned with acid.

Precautions

1. Organize the workbench before use to ensure there is sufficient working space.

2. 1.Do not pour samples onto the instrument or prepare for detection directly above the instrument.

3. 2.Immediately cover the caps after preparing the blank glass vials and the glass vials containing test samples.

4. 3.Wipe off water droplets and dirt on the surface with a clean tissue before placing the glass vial into the measurement chamber.

5. 4.Do not leave the glass vial in the measurement chamber; it should be removed immediately after the measurement is completed.

6. 5.If there are water droplets on the instrument surface or in the measurement chamber, wipe them off immediately with a clean tissue.

7. 6.Keep the instrument clean and regularly clean the measurement chamber with wet wipes or cotton swabs.

8. When the instrument is not in use, store it in a clean and dry place. Place the instrument on a clean and dry table away from chemical reagents, or store it in a storage cabinet or carrying case.

9. Error Messages

10. When the instrument malfunctions, it will display some error messages. The error codes are 7, 8, and 9, which usually appear during calibration. In such cases, you should check whether the operation method is standardized, whether there are scratches or stains on the outer walls of the glass vial and measurement chamber, and the clarity of the sample in the blank glass vial. If no issues are found in the above checks, the error message may indicate an abnormality in the optical path system.

12. E7: Indicates that the light source is too strong. Move the instrument away from external strong light sources.

13. E8: Indicates a malfunction in a part of the optical components. Please contact the local distributor.

14. E9: Indicates insufficient light intensity. Perform the "Measurement Chamber Optical Path Cleaning" procedure and check whether the glass vial has stains at the same time.
